I don't know why it has to
Birds sing every morning to alert that it has risen
Being caged as some birds are, they can't see when it rises. But they can feel it.
Freedom is what keeps them from going insane.
Singing furiously, they long to see the sun rise so that they can awaken the world with it.
I sing of this freedom.
Flying high underneath the suns rays.
Fly away from your cage.
Once you're free, start running away.
It's interesting to think that with freedom usually comes the urge to get away from where you are or what you know...I wonder if anyone would stay put if suddenly given the wings to fly...
